You know your child better than anybody else! The age groups shown above are suggestions based on what we feel is most suitable. If you feel they are capable, you are welcome to have them join the batch of your choice. Our demo sessions can give you a feel of whether your selected batch is right for your child.

This general music class serves as the ideal precursor to learning formal music.. While they may not learn a specific instrument, they learn the skills that will serve them when they start learning an instrument. They learn to embody music with rhythm and other whole body movement (gross motor skills) They do learn a lot of singing through play-based vocalization.
- For an online session: A laptop/computer/tablet with an internet connection will be required.
- For offline music sessions: You just need to show up! 🙂
- A list of items would be mentioned prior to the class. (Whatever is required for the sessions will be easily available in your house. You will not have to leave the safety of your home.)
We prefer that your child interacts/observes the class independently with your supervision. Minimal interference is preferred unless your assistance is required for an activity or task.
A discount can be availed for the registration of the 3rd child/student onwards representing one family. Please contact us to get more details.
Our group of teachers are all experts in early childhood and elementary education. We usually have one dedicated teacher for each batch. Our teachers are active music and academic educators based in different parts of India as well as overseas. From bachelors in music education to those pursuing their masters in early childhood studies, our facilitators are highly skilled and trained to bring out the best in their students.
You can avail a free trial and then decide if you/your child are ready to continue. Please contact us via call or email to book a trial.
No prior music or instrumental knowledge is required for your child to be able to participate in our sessions.
All communication is through our official email and whatsapp domains. Moreover, we provide a child-safe and friendly virtual platform to exchange information. The content on this forum is only accessible by students, teachers, parents, and management from the Tāla Family.
The sessions that involve technology use apps or software that are free. However, we will notify you in writing if you need to buy or subscribe to any software/apps.
One on One and Group Instrumental session
One on one all instruments/voice: Ideal age = 9+ years and above.
Group ukulele: Ideal age 6+
We are open to enroll children that are younger than the given age for all courses. We would love to meet the parent/guardian and have a brief interaction with the child. Please contact us to get more details.

Our online music lessons are offered through level-based sessions which you can choose. We have both one-on-one and group classes. Select your level during the signup process. Send in your performance videos, if you need us to assess your skills.
One on One: You will receive a diagnosis test and we will customize a course for you.
Group: Based on your age and skill you will put in a appropriate batch and course
A laptop or tablet, headphones plus your instrument (ukulele/guitar/piano/drums etc) is all you need. (Piano can be a digital or acoustic keyboard with touch sensitivity)
We can help with suggesting a good make and model via an e-marketer or retail shop that delivers instruments to your doorstep (For residents in Bangalore only).
Sure! Our courses are customizable and we can cater to your needs in a one-on-one session.
We cover fundamental theory as a part of your instrument course. However, should you need an in-depth course, we can meet your needs.
With regular attendance, completion of assignments and a good practice ethic of spending a minimum of 45 minutes per day, each level should take three months (This however will differ based on other variables such as learning profile and prior knowledge levels).

Our staff includes teachers with a bachelor’s in music education, those pursuing their masters in early childhood studies, and facilitators who teach other teachers. We also have academic teachers who are highly inclined towards the performing arts.
We don’t provide qualifications! We are focused on hobby-based instrumental learning. However, a large part of the theory and skills we teach meet the requirements from grade 1 to grade 5 of any music board across the world.
Popular contemporary music, country/folk, blues, popular jazz, and funk. With our piano classes, you can learn classical/concert style music in addition to pop and contemporary styles. We can customize a regular once-a-week course or even a crash course for any of these styles!

Each 90 min session costs INR 1000/14 USD. You pay INR 8000/USD 112 upfront for the whole course. Please note: Our regular ONE-on-ONE sessions are for 45 minutes for which you pay INR 950. In this course, we offer eight, 90-minute sessions for the price of just INR 8000 altogether.

Your instrument, a laptop, smartphone + headphones are all you need.
We have morning and evening batches. We are flexible and customize your sessions based on the most convenient time for the members that sign up for a particular batch.
Our online ukulele lessons for adults are interactive, fun and yet intense courses. It’s the best that you can expect for an introduction to music. Consider this a music “boot camp”. Whether you are someone with a background in music or a complete beginner, this course helps you build and grow your musicianship while staying grounded in the core fundamentals.
Once you get a hold of the basics levels you can play anything – from popular contemporary music and easy-listening songs in any language, to country/folk, blues, and even popular jazz. So if you like Jack Johnson, Jason Mraz, Indian cinema classics of yesteryear, Louis Armstrong numbers, Sunday school favourites, and all those classics like Somewhere Over the Rainbow, our ukulele lessons for adults make sure that you will be set to play all those in a couple of months. This is best for advanced beginners-to-intermediate level guitarists that want to learn fingerstyle. Learn how to add those fancy chords and know when to use them to spice up your performance.
