Our Approach

Our courses and programs our holistic, inclusive of all learning profiles, age-appropriate, and customized for children and adults.

Kids' Programs

Musical learning with young children should be dynamic, kinesthetic, and playful. Our lessons are fun and centered around the joy of music. We specialize in play-based approaches and early childhood music education.

A Play-based Approach: Our flagship program, “Sing, Move & Play” introduces alternative pedagogies and approaches such as The Orff-Schulwerk, the Kodaly method, and others to help children learn and express themselves in an inclusive, engaging classroom.
This mode of learning is internationally renowned, proven, and respected. It is followed by educators in every leading school and organization that specializes in early childhood education.

Instrument lessons

Our level-based modules and courses for children and adults are broken down into bite-sized, easy-to-understand concepts instilling confidence in our learners.

We do our best to include play and fun-based learning even with our older teens and adults, to keep the sessions upbeat and interesting throughout.
Our crash courses are exclusively made for adults. Transforming them into musicians with a holistic knowledge of music in a short duration.

Friday Jam

We provide our students with a platform to showcase their skills. We also invite guest artists to inspire our students and viewers. These performances boost the morale of our students and give beginners, amateurs, and professionals a stage to perform.

Faculty

Our passionate teachers at Tāla Music Academy are active full-time music teachers and performers with over 70+ years of collective experience. Some have Bachelor’s degrees in music education and music diplomas in various international teacher training certifications. Others are seriously studying to pursue a career in music education and performance.
